Arsenal's Spanish sensation David Raya has done it again—clinching the Premier League Golden Glove for the third year running, and he's now just one clean sheet away from tying the all-time record.

The Gunners' No. 1 secured at least a share of the award after Manchester City's thrilling 3-3 draw at Everton on Monday night. With only four games left, Raya's closest rival, Gianluigi Donnarumma, is four clean sheets behind—a gap too wide to close.

Raya can seal the honor outright this weekend if he keeps a clean sheet in Arsenal's London derby against West Ham United. It would be the perfect cap to a stellar campaign that has already seen him notch 17 clean sheets—more than he managed in either of his previous Golden Glove-winning seasons (2023/24 and 2024/25).

This hat-trick of Golden Gloves puts Raya in elite company. He's only the fourth Premier League goalkeeper to win the award three seasons in a row since it was introduced in 2004/05. The list reads like a who's who of shot-stopping royalty: Liverpool's Pepe Reina (2006–2008), Manchester City's Joe Hart (2011–2013), and City's Ederson (2020–2022).

Now, Raya is just one Golden Glove away from equaling the divisional record held by Petr Cech and Joe Hart, who each won four. At just 29 years old, the Spanish international has plenty of time to make that record his own—and maybe even push it further.

For Arsenal fans, Raya's consistency between the posts has been a cornerstone of their title challenges. And for the rest of us? We're watching a modern great write his name into Premier League history, one clean sheet at a time.
