Arsenal took a giant leap towards a first Premier League title in 20 years after beating West Ham 1-0 at the London Stadum on Sunday.

Arsenal are on the brink of ending their 20-year wait for a Premier League title after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over West Ham United at the London Stadium on Sunday.

Mikel Arteta's side dominated possession but struggled to break down a resilient Hammers defense for much of the match. The breakthrough finally came in the 83rd minute when substitutes Kai Havertz and Martin Ødegaard combined brilliantly to set up Leandro Trossard, who slotted home the decisive goal.

The drama didn't end there, however. In the dying moments of the game, West Ham thought they had snatched a point when Calum Wilson found the net, but VAR intervened. The goal was disallowed after a review determined Wilson had fouled goalkeeper David Raya in the build-up, sparking mixed reactions from both sets of fans.

The result puts Arsenal on 79 points, with Manchester City in second place on 76 points but holding a game in hand. Even if City win that match, they would still trail the Gunners by two points with only two games remaining in the season. With the title race reaching its climax, every point matters more than ever.
