Arsenal are reportedly tracking Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez, according to a recent report from Fichajes. The Gunners are closely monitoring the Argentina international's situation as they consider a potential summer move.

Alvarez has been in impressive form for Diego Simeone's side this season, delivering consistent performances as the focal point of Atletico's attack. The 26-year-old has found the back of the net 20 times and provided nine assists in 49 appearances across all competitions—numbers that highlight his growing influence in La Liga.

Given his track record, it's no surprise that Mikel Arteta's Arsenal are keen to bring him to the Emirates Stadium. Alvarez already has Premier League experience from his time at Manchester City, which means he would likely adapt quickly to life in North London.

The Argentine is a versatile forward, capable of playing as a centre-forward or out wide on either flank. He excels at finding space in the box, finishing with precision, creating chances for teammates, and dribbling past defenders with confidence.

However, any deal won't come cheap. Alvarez's contract at the Wanda Metropolitano runs until the summer of 2030, giving Atletico significant leverage in negotiations.

At 26, Alvarez is entering his peak years, making him an attractive long-term investment for Arsenal. He would provide healthy competition for Viktor Gyokeres and add serious depth to Arteta's frontline. If the Gunners can get this deal over the line, it could be a game-changer for their attacking options next season.
