Arsenal fans can breathe a sigh of relief—or at least pause the panic. Despite swirling transfer rumors linking Gabriel Jesus to Serie A giants AC Milan, it turns out the Italian club hasn't actually picked up the phone.

According to trusted insiders Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto, Milan have made zero contact with the Gunners over the Brazilian forward. The 29-year-old striker, whose current deal at the Emirates runs through 2027, had been the subject of growing speculation suggesting the Rossoneri were ready to make a move. But it seems those reports were more smoke than fire.

So, what's really going on in Milan? Manager Massimiliano Allegri appears to be playing a patient game. The club is waiting to lock down a top-four finish in Serie A—and the Champions League cash that comes with it—before committing to any big-money signings. Until that's confirmed, the transfer kitty stays under lock and key.

In the meantime, Allegri's scouting list reads like a who's who of European strikers. He's reportedly eyeing Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski, whose contract is winding down; Fiorentina's Moise Kean, who carries a hefty €62 million release clause (payable in one go); Juventus' Dušan Vlahović, currently in stalled contract talks; and former target Joshua Zirkzee. But with no final decision made, Jesus remains firmly in Arsenal red for now.
