In the aftermath of UFC 328's thrilling main event, all eyes were on the scorecards—and not everyone agrees with the outcome. Arman Tsarukyan, who was in Khamzat Chimaev's corner for the fight, has spoken out, and he's not holding back.

Saturday night at Newark's Prudential Center saw Sean Strickland reclaim the UFC middleweight title with a split-decision victory over Chimaev. The back-and-forth five-round war had fans on the edge of their seats, but Tsarukyan believes the judges got it wrong.

"We fought our hearts out tonight and everyone watching knows what really happened," Tsarukyan posted on Instagram. "Head up Champ. You will get your belt back soon."

The controversial scoring saw judges Eric Colon and Sal D'Amato give Strickland rounds 2, 3, and 5 for a 48-47 win, while judge Sue Sanidad scored it 48-47 for Chimaev, awarding him rounds 1, 4, and 5. That split decision was enough to hand Chimaev his first career loss.

Tsarukyan's loyalty to his training partner is understandable—he worked closely with Chimaev during camp for this title defense. But the numbers tell a story of a fighter who struggled to find his rhythm against Strickland's relentless pressure. Chimaev had captured the belt with a dominant performance over Dricus du Plessis at UFC 319, but couldn't replicate that success against the resilient Strickland.

With the loss now in the books, Chimaev has hinted at a move up to light heavyweight while also keeping the door open for a rematch with Strickland. For now, the debate rages on: did the judges get it right, or was Chimaev robbed of his title?
