The Arizona Wildcats' dream of a Big 12 double was denied in Orlando, as the top-seeded men's tennis team fell 4-0 to the No. 3 TCU Horned Frogs in the tournament final on Saturday.

Despite a dominant 21-4 season and the regular-season crown, the Wildcats couldn't replicate their 4-0 victory over TCU from just last month. The Horned Frogs flipped the script, seizing early momentum by clinching the crucial doubles point.

While Arizona's top duo of Filip Gustafsson and Glib Sekachov secured a 6-3 win, TCU's strength on courts two and three gave them a 1-0 lead they would not relinquish. The Horned Frogs then powered through singles play, earning straight-set victories on courts one, four, and six to seal the championship. Sasha Rozin provided a brief spark for Arizona, pushing his match to a third set, but the overall team result was already decided.

The Wildcats now turn their attention to the national stage. Ranked No. 9, they will learn their NCAA Tournament seeding and destination when the full field is announced on Monday, April 27th, ready to channel this final's intensity into a deep postseason run.
