The D-backs go for the sweep this afternoon over the Blue Jays, having already clinched another series victory. Ryne Nelson seeks to get back to replacement level, which is odd given his ERA+ is a respectable 117 – basically the same as Zac Gallen (118). The big difference is the slew of unearned runs Nelson has allowed. Six of fourteen, in fact. Notable that his FIP is almost at five. Still, with the series in the bag, this is house money.
