The Arizona Cardinals added seven undrafted free agents (UDFAs) after the 2025 NFL Draft, and one of the most intriguing names is tight end Jameson Geers. He hit the field for the first time in a Cardinals uniform during rookie minicamp last week, and there's plenty to like about his potential.
Standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 250 pounds, Geers brings impressive physical tools. With 33 3/8-inch arms and 10-inch hands, he has the frame to be a reliable target in the passing game. At his pro day, he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.91 seconds, posted a 33-inch vertical leap, and a 120-inch broad jump. He also showed solid strength with 14 reps on the 225-pound bench press.
Geers spent five seasons at the University of Minnesota, appearing in 48 games. Over the last two seasons, he carved out a meaningful role in the offense, playing in 26 contests. In 2024, he hauled in 28 catches for 290 yards and four touchdowns. He followed that up with 26 receptions for 206 yards and four more scores in 2025. While not a flashy stat line, his consistency and red-zone production are promising signs for a player looking to stick in the NFL.
As a UDFA, Geers will need to impress in training camp and preseason to earn a roster spot, but his size and recent production suggest he could develop into a valuable depth piece for the Cardinals. For fans looking to gear up like their new favorite tight end, keep an eye on Geers as a potential sleeper to watch this season.
