The Arizona Cardinals have kicked off their rookie minicamp, and among the fresh faces making an early impression is offensive lineman Ka'ena De Cambra—one of seven undrafted free agents the team signed shortly after the NFL draft.

Standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 306 pounds with 32-inch arms, De Cambra brings a versatile frame to the Cardinals' offensive line room. However, his pro day weight of 291 pounds raised some eyebrows, as NFL linemen typically need to carry at least 300 pounds to hold their own in the trenches. Still, his athletic testing showed promise: he clocked a 5.29-second 40-yard dash, a 7.74-second three-cone drill, posted a 27-inch vertical leap, a 104-inch broad jump, and knocked out 25 bench-press reps at 225 pounds.

De Cambra's college journey is a story of adaptability. After spending four seasons at Hawaii, where he started games at left tackle (12), right guard (nine), and right tackle (two), he transferred to Arizona in 2025. There, he anchored the Wildcats' offensive line, starting all 13 games at center and earning All-Mountain West honorable mention honors in 2024.

For a team like the Cardinals, always on the lookout for gritty, versatile linemen who can plug into multiple spots, De Cambra's experience across the entire front five makes him an intriguing underdog to watch. Whether he can pack on the necessary mass and translate his college versatility to the pro level will be one of the storylines to follow as training camp approaches.
