Baseball: Kimberly Edges Appleton North in Late-Inning Thriller
The Kimberly Papermakers showed their championship mettle on Thursday, breaking a 1-1 tie with three runs in the seventh inning to secure a 4-1 victory over Appleton North in Fox Valley Association play. The win boosts Kimberly to an impressive 12-1 in conference and 15-1 overall, while Appleton North drops to 7-6 in the FVA and 11-7 overall.
Ryan Halfmann led the Papermakers with two hits, and Maddux Hermus drove in two crucial runs. On the mound, Bryce Mischler delivered a complete-game gem, allowing just one run on six hits and one walk while striking out six.
For Appleton North, Aedan Waterstreet doubled and drove in the team's lone run, while Owen Reuland also chipped in two hits. Colin Reddy turned in a strong six-inning start, allowing just one unearned run on five hits while striking out nine, but Isaak L'Esperance took the loss after surrendering three runs in the final frame.

Bron Schaefer and Brayden Jenkins each collected three hits to pace the Kaukauna offense, while Dylan Lotzer, Taron Seghers, Paxton Schuh, and Bennett Geitner also had multiple hits. Jenkins earned the win on the mound, pitching four solid innings.
Seymour Girls Soccer Holds Off Winneconne
