As the NFL gears up for another season of international football, the Jacksonville Jaguars are once again packing their passports. With the 2026 schedule reveal set for May 14th, speculation is heating up about who will face the Jaguars in their two London games this year.
We already know the Jaguars' 17 opponents for the upcoming season, and the team will serve as the home team for both London matchups. That narrows the field considerably. As the home team, Jacksonville is slated to host the Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, and New England Patriots.
CBS Sports analyst John Breech has weighed in with his predictions, and they offer some intriguing possibilities. For the first London game, Breech sees an AFC opponent taking the field—either the Cleveland Browns or the Tennessee Titans.
"On the AFC side, let's start with the Titans," Breech wrote. "The NFL usually tries to avoid sending divisional games overseas, but it has happened before. As for the Browns, they've never played an international game as the visiting team, so this would break new ground."
For the second game, Breech predicts an NFC showdown—either the Philadelphia Eagles or the Washington Commanders. Both teams bring their own storylines to the table. "Although Washington is already set to host a game in London this year, the NFL could have the Commanders play back-to-back games there, with one as the home team and one as the visiting team," Breech noted. "As for Philadelphia, the Eagles have only played two international games in franchise history, which is tied for the second-fewest in the league, so the NFL could send them abroad."
For the Jaguars, playing in London has become a cherished tradition. Except for the 2020 season, Jacksonville has made the trip across the pond every year since 2013. This marks the third time they'll play back-to-back games in London, solidifying their status as the NFL's unofficial ambassadors to the UK.
