Our Ask Me Anything team tell you all you need to know about the 2026 Champions League final between Arsenal and Paris St-Germain.

The stage is set for one of the most anticipated Champions League finals in recent memory. Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain have both punched their tickets to Budapest, and football fans around the world are already counting down the days. Here's everything you need to know about the 2026 showpiece.

The Matchup

Arsenal, currently leading the Premier League, will face the reigning champions PSG at the Puskas Arena on Saturday, 30 May. The kick-off has been moved to 17:00 BST, a significant shift from the traditional 20:00 start. UEFA says the change is designed to "enhance the matchday experience and benefit fans, teams and host cities."

For Arsenal, this is a moment 20 years in the making. The Gunners haven't appeared in a Champions League final since their famous 2006 run, and fans are buzzing after their dramatic semifinal victory over Atletico Madrid. On the other side, PSG are looking to defend the title they won in 2025, having dispatched Bayern Munich to reach back-to-back finals.

Getting Your Hands on Tickets

If you're dreaming of being in Budapest, you'll need to act fast. With only 16,824 tickets available for Arsenal supporters, demand is going to far exceed supply. The club has set up a priority system: fans who attended enough qualifying home and away games get first dibs and are guaranteed a ticket. After that, a second eligibility window opens for season-ticket holders, who must enter a ballot and hope for the best.

Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, so speed is key. Prices start at 70 euros (£61) and climb to 180 euros (£156), 650 euros (£562), and 950 euros (£821). There are also a limited number of reduced-price tickets for restricted-view seats.

As for the rest of the stadium? About 4,600 tickets are available to the general public, while the remaining 21,400 go to UEFA's "football family"—including local organizers, national associations, commercial partners, and broadcasters.

What to Wear

Whether you're lucky enough to be in Budapest or watching from home, this is the perfect occasion to gear up in your team's colors. Arsenal's iconic red and white or PSG's sleek navy and red—either way, you'll want to look the part for what promises to be an unforgettable final.
