Mikel Arteta has said the belief and energy has raised at Arsenal despite the club's stuttering title challenge.
Arsenal were overtaken at the top of thePremier League table in midweek after Manchester City won 1-0 at Burnley. The result followed Arsenal's 2-1 defeat to their title rivals at the Etihad last weekend, with the Citizens now leading the title race on goals scored.
The Gunners had led the league for 200 days, but back-to-backPremier League defeats have seen Arsenal slip to second.
Arteta's side have the chance to regain top spot tomorrow, when Newcastle visit the Emirates. City are not in league action, due to the FA Cup semi-finals.
Speaking ahead of the game, Arteta told his pre-match press conference that Arsenal's belief and energy has increased despite recent setbacks. He called on his squad to go 'all in' over the final five games, as Arsenal chase a first league title since 2004.
"The energy raised and the belief raised. The clarity in what we have to do it cannot be better. Five games to go. Tomorrow game one - all in - let's go for it," Arteta said.
"Five games to go. Four weeks, two big competitions to play for and everything to play for. If somebody had told us at the beginning of the season we would have taken it - we are so excited.
"Win tomorrow, game one win and then we'll be much closer. I have belief in our players and our people and the willingness in what we want to achieve."
The title race is evenly poised with only goals scored separating the top two. Arteta has previous of nail-biting finishes, having scored a 90th-minute penalty as Rangers beat Dunfermline Athletic 6-1 to snatch the Scottish Premiership on goal difference in 2003.
"I took the penalty and we won the league by one goal difference. It doesn't get better than that. One of the best feelings I had in my career. When you win it, it is even more special."
