The 2026 girls soccer season in the fiercely competitive District 25-6A has officially been put in the books, and the district's coaches have honored the standout athletes who defined the year. These selections highlight the incredible talent and hard work displayed on pitches across the Austin area.

Leading the pack with the top individual honors are three exceptional players. Vandegrift's Eva Pensamiento was named the Offensive Player of the Year for her goal-scoring prowess, while teammate Reagan Mckinley anchored the backline to earn Defensive Player of the Year. Westwood's versatile Kaleia Coughlin took home the coveted Utility Player of the Year award.

The First Team All-District selections are a who's who of district talent. Vandegrift placed five players: Brooke Cansler, Reese Arnold, Kyla Jones, Jacky Dashnaw, and Nala Macherey. Round Rock's quartet includes Montse Hernandez, Aidan Hernandez, Audrey Redus, and Kenzie Pelter. Westwood is represented by Natalie Safarik, Audrey Savoie, Nadia Giannetti, and Sam Crider, while Cedar Ridge's Lorena Jaimes, Melanie Ramos, and Eliana Constanza earned spots. Hutto also placed three on the first team: Jocelyn Anderson, Ashley Guild, and Samaya Williams.

The Second Team features another deep roster of impactful players. Vandegrift's Ella Shahinian, Kaitlyn Chee, Peyton Arnaud, Caroline Calvert, and Annelise Miller made the list. From Round Rock, Lucy Grazecki, Phia Hull, Valeria Miranda, and Hannah Stewart were selected. Westwood's Payton Vopat, Adriana Cheng, Jaelynn Solis, and Henley Patak were honored, alongside Hutto's Mia Nelson, Maralys Johnson, and Dayanara Gonzalez-Guzman.

Completing the all-district honors, the Honorable Mention list recognizes even more key contributors. Vandegrift's Maddie Hodges, Meghan Heins, and Ryan Jones were noted. Round Rock's Sophia Ortiz, Reese Poprocki, and Ella Wood received the nod, as did Westwood's Elyse Osborn, Kensington Maynes, and Charlotte Holland. Vista Ridge (Sam Hunninghake, Chloe McCann, Kinsley Donovan), Stony Point (Emily Macias, Kelby Fulk, Jordan Alexiou), and Manor (Valeria Medina-Arroyo, Maria Vargas-Vasquez, Samantha Gomez-Morales) all had players recognized for their stellar seasons.

Congratulations to all these incredible athletes on a season of outstanding performance and well-deserved recognition. Your dedication on the field is an inspiration to the next generation of players gearing up for their own moments of glory.
