The local hardwood stars have been recognized! The All-City boys basketball squad for Cumberland has been announced, with Allegany and Fort Hill leading the way with three selections apiece on the seven-player team.

Despite the absence of a formal Cumberland City League schedule this season, the prestigious All-City honors were still awarded based on head-to-head results between the city's teams. With Fort Hill and Allegany splitting their regular-season matchups, it's only fitting that both powerhouse programs are equally represented on the list.

Representing the Allegany Campers are Chris Manherz, Landon Holliday, and Owen Rice. Fort Hill's Sentinels are represented by the trio of Liam Hamilton, Jameson Powell-Morris, and Neek Taylor. Rounding out the elite squad is Carson Hamelin from Bishop Walsh, which secured the final spot.

Congratulations to all these athletes on a fantastic season and this well-deserved recognition for their standout performances on the court.
