The recruiting battle for one of Alabama's top high school talents is heating up, and the Georgia Bulldogs are right in the thick of it. Four-star linebacker Isaac McNeil, the highest-ranked uncommitted player in the state, has named UGA among his top seven schools.

Standing at 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds, McNeil is a defensive force coming off a dominant junior season at Vigor High School in Mobile, where he racked up 92 tackles and nine sacks. Currently ranked as the No. 6 linebacker and No. 87 overall prospect in the class of 2027, his combination of size, speed, and playmaking ability makes him a coveted national recruit.

Georgia's inclusion in his final list is significant for Coach Kirby Smart's defensive vision. The Bulldogs currently hold the nation's No. 7 recruiting class for 2027 but have yet to secure a commitment at the linebacker position.
