AJ Dybantsa will be the apple of NBA teams' eyes this spring, just as the potentially-generational prospect has been front and center for Nike for the last two years.
Dybantsa signed an NIL deal with Nike in January 2024, and the partnership is being upgraded with the BYU star's impending selection in the NBA draft.
"It means everything," Dybantsa said. "They've been with me since Day 1. It's been a great partnership and we're looking forward to keep building for the long term."
The agreement has converted from an NIL deal into a standard professional contract. In line with the new pact, Nike has created a custom logo for the future NBA player.

"It's some abstract art," Dybantsa said. "It's like an A and a J. If you keep flipping it, you see it. ... I got a nickname when I was younger ... 'Star Boy.' So, I've always been a star. And the pressure doesn't really faze me. It kind of refines me, like a diamond."
USA TODAY Sports has AJ Dybantsa projected to go number one overall in the NBA draft this June.
