The Alabama high school girls soccer postseason has arrived, with matchups for Classes 5A and 6A beginning this week.

Classes 5A and 6A will begin the first round of the playoffs April 23-25. Teams that advance will play in the second round April 27-28, while Classes 1A-3A, 4A and 7A will begin their first round during that same time. Classes 5A and 6A will then compete in the third round April 30 to May 2, while Classes 1A-3A, 4A and 7A will play their second round.

The AHSAA state tournament will take place May 6-9 at the Huntsville Soccer Complex at John Hunt Park.

Below is the full schedule for the AHSAA girls soccer postseason.

April 27-28: Second round (Classes 5A, 6A); First round (Classes 1A-3A, 4A, 7A)

April 30 to May 2: Third round (Classes 5A, 6A); Second round (Classes 1A-3A, 4A, 7A)

May 6-9: State tournament (Huntsville Soccer Complex at John Hunt Park)
