Transitioning from player to coach is a challenging path, but Chris Quinn has navigated it masterfully. After concluding a six-year NBA career in 2013, which included stints with the Heat, Nets, Spurs, and Cavaliers, Quinn immediately pivoted to the sidelines.

His coaching journey began in 2014 with the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the Miami Heat's G League affiliate. Just one season later, he earned a promotion to an assistant coaching role with the NBA's Miami Heat, the very franchise where he spent the majority of his playing days.

Now 42, Quinn's dedication and basketball IQ have seen him rise through the ranks to become the team's associate head coach. He holds the distinction of being the longest-tenured assistant on Erik Spoelstra's staff, a testament to his value and deep institutional knowledge of the Heat's renowned culture.
