The Cowboys are meeting with a potential addition to their secondary on Tuesday.

The Dallas Cowboys are making moves to shore up their secondary, and they've got their eyes on a veteran cornerback with plenty of experience.

On Tuesday, the team is hosting free agent cornerback Adoree' Jackson for a visit, according to NFL reporter Jordan Schultz. With just one open spot left on their 90-man roster, this meeting could lead to a quick signing if both sides like what they see.

Jackson, a first-round pick back in 2017, brings a wealth of NFL experience to the table. He spent his first four seasons with the Tennessee Titans before moving on to the New York Giants for another four years. Last season, he suited up for the Philadelphia Eagles, where he recorded 55 tackles and an interception in 14 regular-season games. He also chipped in four tackles during the Eagles' playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Over his nine-year career, Jackson has racked up impressive numbers: 459 tackles, five interceptions, six forced fumbles, and five fumble recoveries. That kind of production could be exactly what the Cowboys need to bolster their defensive backfield.

Dallas has already been busy this offseason reshaping their cornerback group. They signed free agents Cobie Durant and Derion Kendricks, and added Devin Moore in the fourth round of last month's draft. The team's top returning corners are DaRon Bland and Shavon Revel, giving the Cowboys a solid mix of youth and experience. Adding a player like Jackson would only deepen that rotation and provide valuable veteran leadership.

Whether Jackson ends up in a Cowboys uniform remains to be seen, but for a team with playoff aspirations, this visit is definitely one to watch.
