Paulo Dybala’s future at Roma remains uncertain, with the Argentine, after returning to the squad, aiming for a call-up for next Saturday’s match against Bologna following meniscus surgery.

The match against the Rossoblu could be one of Dybala’s last appearances in the Giallorossi jersey, given that his contract expires in June and a renewal seems far off.

However, a possible extension hasn’t been ruled out, though the matter is complex. Adidas, the player’s and the club’s longtime sponsor, could play a key role.

The brand, which has been accompanying Roma since 2023-24, appears to be assessing Dybala’s media appeal, especially in light of the club’s centenary.

A possible renewal, writes Il Corriere della Sera, could represent a strategic move from a commercial standpoint, with Adidas eyeing the situation with interest.

Furthermore, Dybala is reportedly willing to reduce his salary, a key condition for considering a future with Roma.

For now, the Argentine has put all other offers on hold, trying to determine whether his experience in the capital can continue.

Despite the difficulties surrounding the renewal, hope for a possible agreement remains alive.
