The Arizona Wildcats are making serious moves to reshape their frontcourt for the upcoming season, and the latest addition could be a game-changer—even if star recruit Koa Peat ultimately decides not to return.

This week, the Wildcats added veteran big man Ugnius "Oogie" Jaruševičius to the roster. A first-team All-MAC selection in 2024-25 during his time at Central Michigan, Jaruševičius brings a versatile stretch game that could make him a key rotation piece—provided he can shake off the back issues that limited him to just one game in 2025-26. At 6-foot-10, he can back up fellow Lithuanian Motiejus Krivas at center or slide over to power forward, giving head coach Tommy Lloyd valuable lineup flexibility.

But the frontcourt rebuild doesn't stop there. Last week, Arizona also brought in Dutch center Endurance "Endi" Aiyamenkhue, a longer-term developmental prospect who adds depth and raw potential to the paint. And the Wildcats are still in pursuit of former Idaho State big man Evan Otten, who led the Big Sky in blocked shots last season (1.76 per game) and earned a spot on the conference's all-defensive team. Otten's shot-blocking prowess would be a welcome addition to an already retooled front line.

With these moves, Arizona is clearly stacking up options to compete in a rugged Pac-12 landscape. Whether it's veteran experience, international upside, or defensive presence, the Wildcats are building a frontcourt that can adapt to any challenge. For fans keeping an eye on the roster, this offseason has been all about strength in numbers—and versatility in the paint.
