The A.J. Brown era is expected to end in the next two months, and with the Eagles reporting to the Jefferson Health Training Facility for off-season workouts, the expectation is that the All-Pro wide receiver won't be in attendance for any of the voluntary portion of training. The Eagles have consistently planned ahead at premium positions, and wide receiver is no exception. Adding Dontayvion Wicks, Hollywood Brown, and Elijah Moore now provides insurance and optionality as the team navigates future roster decisions.

It appears that Philadelphia will begin signaling a shift away from Brown toward a scenario in which DeVonta Smith is the No. 1 wide receiver, with Wicks, Hollywood Brown, Moore, and others adding depth.

Brown has earned All-Pro honors, Pro Bowl honors, 1,400+ yards twice, and amassed 5,000+ yards receiving since joining the Eagles. Brown has been the subject of trade rumors, and that'll need to be addressed.
