Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has spoken out after fans voiced their displeasure with boos following the team's 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Anfield. The Dutch international, who scored the opening goal early in the match, believes the reaction was unwarranted and has called for unity as the season draws to a close.

The tension was palpable from the stands as Enzo Fernandez's equalizer wiped out Gravenberch's promising start, leaving Liverpool to settle for a point at home. Frustrations boiled over at the final whistle, with supporters making their feelings clear about a performance that failed to meet the high standards expected at the club.

"To be honest, we need them behind us," Gravenberch told TNT Sports, reflecting on the fan reaction. "I think what they do, okay we don't win, but I think we don't really deserve this. I think the fans have to be behind us for 90 minutes." The 22-year-old highlighted a key moment when the crowd's support did make a difference, adding: "In the second half when they got behind us, we pressed them really well, so we need it. Hopefully in the next few games they won't do this anymore."

It's been a challenging campaign for Liverpool, who are battling to secure a top-four finish and a Champions League berth. Gravenberch acknowledged the disappointment but remained focused on the task ahead. "I think it was not a great season from us," he admitted. "We still have two games left so we have to try and win these games and secure a Champions League spot."

With just two matches remaining in the Premier League season, every point counts for Liverpool. For fans and players alike, the message is clear: now is the time to come together, not apart. After all, a united Anfield is a fortress—and that's exactly what the Reds need to finish the season on a high note.
