Kenyon Sadiq was not on the radar of everyone that follows the New York Jets ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft.

With the second of eventually three first-round picks at the draft, the Oregon tight was selected by New York at No. 16 overall. By most accounts, Sadiq was considered the top tight end prospect in this year's draft and now he joins Mason Taylor at tight end in the Jets offense.

With 51 catches, 560 yards and eight touchdown in 14 games played in 2025, he could be a factor in the Jets offense from the jump. You'll want to get to know him more now.

Alongside Taylor at tight end and Garrett Wilson and fellow first-round rookie Omar Cooper Jr. at wideout, Sadiq further adds to a Jets offense that could be a talented one in 2026. Sadiq's resume is filled with production at Oregon.

He led the team with51 catches, which broke a school record at the position, and had eight touchdowns, the most of any FBS tight end. In total, 13 of his 51 catches went over 20 yards as well.

Sadiq is not afraid to chip in where ever he is needed. Throughout his college career, he put up 488 total snaps on special teams.

Despite being the size of a tight end, Sadiq has speed with his frame... as his 13 catches previously mentioned shows. Sadiq made history by running the 40-yard dash in 4.39 seconds, the fastest ever at the NFL Combine by a tight end.

Sadiq has some critics that say his ability to block might be a problem in the NFL. That comes despite his Pro Football Focus grades being pretty solid. PFF gave Sadiq 67.5 run-blocking mark last season.

"I mean, anyone that says I'm not a willing blocker obviously doesn't watch any film," Sadiq said. "There are a lot of people on Twitter and stuff like that. There are definitely parts that are lacking, you know, front side, outside zone, those kinds of things. Definitely jacking my head or getting swimmed. So it's definitely room for improvement. But no, I definitely still think I'm one, if not the best blocking tight end in the class."

Sadiq has one endorsement already in his back pocket in his NFL career. It's for Wonderful Pistachios:
