Aston Villa's Europa League semi-final second leg against Nottingham Forest is a high stakes game.

Villa Park is set to come alive tonight as Aston Villa faces Nottingham Forest in a high-stakes Europa League semi-final second leg. The atmosphere promises to be electric, with fans daring to dream of ending a 30-year wait for major silverware. A win would not only push the club closer to glory but also complete a remarkable set of European trophies for the historic club.

Former Aston Villa Chief Executive Paul Faulkner captured the excitement perfectly. "In my time, we even won the Peace Cup, which is a bit of a footnote in history, but we haven't won the Europa League. Completing the set would be amazing," he said. Faulkner, who also served as the club's chief operating officer, emphasized the rich European heritage that Villa Park embodies. "Villa have got a rich European heritage, and in recent years it's been great to see the club re-establish that," he added.

The Villans enter the match trailing 1-0 from last week's first leg at the City Ground, but the belief is palpable. "It's so exciting. As a football fan, you follow your club through thick and thin, but when you're in these semi-finals and it can go any which way, that's what football is about," Faulkner said. "Getting to wake up being excited, everyone talking about it—it could be joy or heartbreak, but that's what makes sport so compelling and wonderful. Tonight, Villa Park will be rocking."

Just a stone's throw from the stadium, the Witton Arms Pub is gearing up for a massive night. Owner Kiran Chavda expects to serve 1,500 fans before and during the match. "I'm very nervous but excited. It's going to be brilliant," he said. The pub is offering food stalls, live music, and a buzzing atmosphere to match the occasion. Chavda noted that Villa's winning streak has given his business a welcome boost. "We employ a lot of staff, and luckily, they can benefit from the extra games we weren't expecting. It helps a lot."

With so much on the line, tonight's clash is more than just a game—it's a chance to make history. Whether it ends in joy or heartbreak, one thing is certain: Villa Park will be rocking.
