Martin O'Neill feels Celtic have momentum for the "monumental" remaining games after their winning run landed him the Premiership manager of the month award. The Northern Irishman guided Celtic to three league wins from three - against Dundee, St Mirren and Falkirk - in April. Celtic also reached their fourth consecutive Scottish Cup final, beating St Mirren 6-2 after extra time.

Martin O'Neill may be 74 years young, but he's still got the golden touch. The veteran manager has been named Scottish Premiership Manager of the Month for April after steering Celtic through a perfect run of league results—three wins from three against Dundee, St Mirren, and Falkirk.

But it's not just about the league. Celtic also punched their ticket to a fourth consecutive Scottish Cup final, edging St Mirren 6-2 in an extra-time thriller. That kind of form has O'Neill feeling optimistic about what he calls the "monumental" games ahead.

"Coming back from the international break, we had just lost at Tannadice against Dundee United," O'Neill reflected. "You just have to win the games coming back. So we reset, got the late goal at Dundee, and we've gone on from there."

The timing couldn't be better. With four league matches remaining, second-place Celtic sits just three points behind long-time leaders Hearts, who face Rangers on Monday. O'Neill's squad heads to face Hibs on Sunday, knowing every point counts in this title race.

"It's great to still be in the hunt at this stage," he said. "We're on a decent run, getting results, and the team is just gelling."

This is O'Neill's second Manager of the Month award this season—he also claimed the honor in November during his first interim spell. But even after decades in the dugout, the accolade still means something special.

"Even at 74 years of age, it's still nice to get it," he admitted with characteristic humility. "But this is for the work by the players and the coaches. I've seriously played a little part—not as much as I should in getting this award."

For Celtic fans and neutrals alike, watching a veteran manager orchestrate this late-season surge is a reminder that experience, grit, and momentum can be just as powerful as youth. And with the finish line in sight, the green and white faithful will be hoping O'Neill's magic touch continues all the way to the trophy.
