The Jacksonville Jaguars are not scheduled to pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL draft. However, EVP Tony Boselli didn't completely shut the door on the Jaguars finding a way back into the top 32.

In an interview on Thursday morning with Action Sports Jax, Boselli acknowledged that "if there's a chance to be bold," he, James Gladstone, and Liam Coen will take it.

"You never know," Boselli said. "Stay tuned. You better watch."

Moving up from pick 56 to 32 would take quite a haul to do so. Using the Rich Hill trade value chart as our guide, the Jaguars would have to part with pick 56, 81, 124, and 166.

That said, with 11 selections in this year's draft and Jacksonville projected to have double-digit picks next year, the team does have the draft capital to make a splash.

However, a trade up the draft board this big still feels unlikely. But given that the Jaguars operate in secrecy during the pre-draft process and Gladstone's willingness to make deals, perhaps we can't completely rule out the idea either.

And it's that uncertainty around what the Jaguars will do that Gladstone wants to create because that could lead to some advantageous scenarios for Jacksonville.

"We're in a good position," Boselli said, "and we're excited, but it will be a little bit different feeling. Just like all our fans, we'll be watching and kind of see where this thing falls out. We definitely have a lot of players that we like in this draft, and we'll see if there's an opportunity. I think the one thing that everyone probably knows by now about Liam, James, and I, if there's a chance to be bold, we're going to take it. There's nobody that I'd rather have leading us in this process than James."
