Danny Rohl has received a vote of confidence from the Rangers board, leaving "no question mark" over his future as the Ibrox club's head coach. Despite a challenging run of three consecutive Scottish Premiership defeats and growing fan unrest, the German tactician insists he has the full backing of the club's hierarchy.

The Gers' recent slump has seen them drop to third place behind Hearts and Celtic, ensuring another trophyless campaign. Sunday's Old Firm derby defeat only intensified calls for change from some supporters, but Rohl remains unfazed. "I think the last 48 hours, there was unbelievable support from the board," he said. "Everyone around me sees a lot of positive things, but we are also critical of ourselves. There's no question mark."

Rohl took over from Russell Martin in October and initially closed the gap at the top, but the team's form has since unraveled. Now, attention turns to a crucial summer rebuild, with captain James Tavernier set to depart after 11 years at the club. Multiple loan deals are also expiring, leaving significant gaps to fill.

For the Rangers boss, the priority is clear: bring in stronger leadership. "With Tav we lose the captain and it means for us, this is a big signal," Rohl explained. "We need new leaders, more leaders for the dressing room, to set our standards that we want on the training pitch, in difficult moments in the game. This is a great opportunity to work on this."

Despite the turbulence, Rohl and the board are aligned on the summer's recruitment strategy. "Yesterday, conversations again with the club and you can really trust me, I'm very clear," he added. As Rangers gear up for a season-defining transfer window, the message from the Ibrox boardroom is one of unity and long-term vision—with Rohl very much at the center of it.
