The Alabama Crimson Tide suffered their first SEC series loss of the season vs. Tennessee in Knoxville this past weekend.
Alabama now holds an overall record of 44-6 (16-5 SEC) following the series loss. The Tide struggled immensely following Saturday’s 12-0 win, as the Vols were able to secure back-to-back victories in the final two games of the series.
Here are three takeaways from Alabama’s series loss on the road vs. Tennessee.
Briski has been excellent in the circle for the Tide this season. The star flamethrower surrendered just two hits and a walk during Saturday’s 12-0 win, as Briski delivered five scoreless innings to begin the series in Knoxville.
Briski’s performance on Saturday was one of the Tide’s lone bright spots this past weekend, as the talented pitcher continues to shine throughout SEC play.
Wells has been one of the best hitters in Alabama’s lineup during the entire 2026 campaign. The first baseman went 1-for-3 with a RBI on Saturday, as Wells hit a towering home run to begin the game in the first inning.
Wells is currently hitting a team high .419 on the season, as the star continues to dominate at the plate throughout the month of April.
