Following the 2026 NFL draft, here are three positions where the Jacksonville Jaguars could still look to made an addition.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have wrapped up the 2026 NFL Draft, but general manager James Gladstone might not be done yet. Following a strategy he employed last offseason—when he signed veterans like Emmanuel Ogbah and Dennis Gardeck after the draft—Gladstone could still look to free agency to shore up a few key positions. Best of all, any signings made now won't affect the 2027 compensatory pick formula, a major reason the Jaguars were quiet in March's free agency period. With limited cap space but no need for blockbuster deals, here are three areas where Jacksonville could still add depth and competition.

Edge Rusher
Behind star starters Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker, the Jaguars' pass-rush rotation is young and unproven. The team drafted Wesley Williams and Zach Durfee, who will compete with Danny Striggow and BJ Green for rotational snaps. But can two or three of these players deliver the consistent pressure Jacksonville needs? Adding a veteran edge rusher could provide insurance and mentorship for this inexperienced group.

Defensive Tackle
Jacksonville used a third-round pick on Albert Regis, but his college impact came primarily against the run. Whether he can bring an immediate interior pass rush—a clear need—remains uncertain. Ruke Orhorhoro offers a pass-rush-first skill set, but his true impact is still unknown. Matt Dickerson rounds out the depth chart as the fifth tackle option. A free-agent addition could bring proven disruption to the middle of the line.

Linebacker
The Jaguars are high on Ventrell Miller, who seems poised to start alongside Foye Oluokun. However, adding more competition wouldn't hurt. Jack Kiser is viewed as a long-term replacement for Oluokun, while Jalen McCleod fills the role vacated by Gardeck. Rookie Parker Hughes is expected to contribute mainly on special teams early on. A veteran linebacker could push the group and provide depth.

With the draft in the rearview mirror, the Jaguars have a clear path to fine-tune their roster. Keep an eye on these positions as Gladstone looks to make savvy, low-cost moves that could pay dividends in 2026.
