Pupillo has been widely regarded as one of the top overall players in all of college softball this season. The star catcher went 1-for-3 during Alabama’s 6-0 win over UAB on Tuesday, including a towering two-run home run in the seventh inning.
Pupillo could easily stay red hot at the plate this weekend against Tennessee, as the talented catcher continues to play a critical role in 2026.
Moten has continued to shock the college softball world on a nightly basis throughout her freshman campaign this season. The start flamethrower recorded seven innings pitched while surrendering just two hits against UAB on Tuesday, as Moten was credited with an impressive 10 strikeouts as well.
The star freshman will look dominate yet again against the Volunteers in Knoxville, as Moten was excellent against UAB on Tuesday evening.
Alabama will begin their three-game series vs. Tennessee on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. CT, as the Tide will look to improve to 46-4 in Knoxville.
