Liverpool to battle European giants for transfer of Franculino DjuOne thing that has been made clear about Liverpool's recruitment process this season is that they're going to buy young players with plenty of potential.

Milos Kerkez and Florian Wirtz are two prime examples of this with both of them being some of the best players in their positions last term.

Their moves may not have gone as planned thus far but, with an entire season now under their belt, fans will be expecting a lot more from their new signings.

But, due to the poor performances put on display by the club, a couple of changes will certainly have to take place with a 22-goal striker now on Liverpool's radar.

That is, according to an update from Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo who have reported that Liverpool are in the race for Midtjylland striker, Franculino Dju.

"In any case, the competition for Franculino Djú will be fierce this summer, as he's a striker being monitored by clubs like Liverpool, West Ham, Manchester United, Everton, Bayern Munich, AC Milan, and Roma , as ED has learned," they wrote.

"And his statistics speak for themselves: 55 goals in 105 games for Midtjylland; an average of 0.52 goals per game; he's the second youngest player in Europe's 67 top leagues to have scored more than 20 goals in the last year."
