Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class. Four-star linebacker Frederrick Ford will officially visit Tennessee on June 12.

The 6-foot-5, 190-pound prospect is from Greenwood High School in Greenwood, Mississippi. He also plays basketball and competes in high and long jump for Greenwood's track and field team.

247Sports ranks Ford as the No. 19 linebacker in the class and No. 7 player in Mississippi.

Tennessee offered Ford a scholarship on Feb. 20. He visited the Vols for a spring practice on April 2.

Mississippi Valley State was the first school to offer Ford a scholarship. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tulane, Louisiana Tech, Troy, Cincinnati, Florida State, Missouri and LSU.

Tennessee has six commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, defensive lineman Kadin Fife, quarterback Derrick Baker, athlete Jaden Butler and wide receiver KeSean Bowman.
