The recruiting trail is heating up, and the Auburn Tigers are firmly in the mix for one of the top young offensive linemen in the 2027 class. On Monday, four-star prospect JJ Brown announced his top six schools, and Auburn made the cut alongside Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, and Kentucky, as reported by Benjamin Wolk of 247Sports.

Brown, a standout from Parkview High School in Georgia, is already planning his official visits, with a trip to the Plains scheduled for June 12. That visit will be part of a busy summer for the 6-foot-5 tackle, who is also set to check out Clemson on May 29, Georgia on June 5, and Kentucky on June 19. Visits to Florida and Florida State have yet to be announced, but the Gators and Seminoles remain in contention.

Currently ranked as the No. 32 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 35 player in Georgia by the 247Sports composite, Brown is a key target for Auburn's 2027 recruiting class. The Tigers' class currently sits at No. 39 nationally with six commitments, but it got a major boost on Saturday when quarterback Gary Chatman Jr. pledged his allegiance to the program. However, the offensive line remains a priority, with only one commit—three-star Jaylon Moore—on board so far.

Landing a prospect of Brown's caliber would not only strengthen the trenches but also provide significant momentum for Auburn's recruiting efforts.
