The lone team event on the PGA Tour means a split pot for the winning duo at the 2026 Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Fear not, though, as each member of the winning team at TPC Louisiana will take home a tidy sum of $1,372,750.
The victory for the Fitzpatrick brothers pushed Matt over $40 million in career earnings while his brother notched his first win. Alex Smalley tied for second, his best career finish, and it lifted his career earnings to nearly $10 million.
What's more, each winner reaps the same benefits as any other victor on the PGA Tour, including a two-year exemption. That means entry into tournaments through the end of the 2028 regular season for Alex, who was a sponsor invite from the DP World Tour.
The Zurich became a team event in 2017 and Billy Horschel remains the lone golfer to have a title in the tournament as an individual and as a member of a team.
