USA TODAY Sports, in partnership with the AVCA, has released the latest regional rankings, highlighting the teams that are making a strong push for a spot in the prestigious Super 25 national rankings.
Across four key regions, powerhouse programs are proving their dominance on the court. In the West Region (covering Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming), two teams are turning heads: Santa Margarita High School from Rancho Santa Margarita, California, checks in at No. 9, while Sandra Day O'Connor High School from Phoenix, Arizona, holds strong at No. 11.
Moving to the Midwest Region (Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, West Virginia, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota), Oak Park River Forest High School from Oak Park, Illinois, has climbed to an impressive No. 3 ranking, showcasing the depth of talent in the area.
The Southeast Region (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas) is packed with contenders. Lake Brantley High School from Altamonte Springs, Florida, holds the No. 2 spot, while Sports Leadership and Management Academy from Tampa, Florida, is right behind at No. 5. Rounding out the top 10 in this region is Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy from Whites Creek, Tennessee, at No. 9.
