The 2026 UIL girls state golf tournament has wrapped up, and Dallas-area teams and individuals delivered standout performances on the course. From team championships to individual medalists, local golfers showcased their skills under pressure. Here's how the Dallas-area squads and players fared in this year's competition.
In the Class 6A team standings, Southlake Carroll led the Dallas-area charge with a fourth-place finish, posting a score of 325. They were followed closely by Flower Mound in seventh place (332), Coppell in eighth (337), and a strong showing from the region. The team title went to Austin Vandegrift with a 316, just one stroke ahead of Austin Westlake's 317.
On the individual leaderboard in Class 6A, several Dallas-area golfers made their mark. Tatum Churchman of Prosper tied for third place with a solid 72, while Eileen Lee of Plano West and Lois Lee of Flower Mound both carded 76s to tie for seventh. Riya Bapna of Coppell also joined the logjam at 76, proving the depth of talent in the region.
In Class 5A, the Dallas-area was well-represented in the team competition. Colleyville Heritage finished as runners-up with a 301, just three strokes behind champion Comal Pieper (298). Frisco Reedy took third place with a 302, while Frisco Centennial landed in sixth (311). Highland Park finished seventh with a 319, and Grapevine tied for eighth with Montgomery at 323.
The individual race in Class 5A saw Megan Marais of Grapevine take second place with a 71, just one shot behind champion Michelle Lee of San Antonio Alamo Heights. Audrey McCallum of Colleyville Heritage tied for third with a 72, while Jumee Lee of the same school shot a 70 but was listed among the top finishers. Inessa Hartman of Frisco Reedy shot a 73 to secure eighth place.
In Class 4A, the team competition was led by Andrews with a 317, followed by Glen Rose at 320. Frisco Panther Creek took third place with a 334, marking a strong showing for the area. Lago Vista finished fourth at 351, while Burnet rounded out the top five with a 354.
On the individual side in Class 4A, Rylen Darter of Taylor claimed the championship with an impressive 69. Dixie Crain of Springtown tied for second with a 74, and Avery Glanzer of Benbrook also tied for second at 74. Brylee Mokr of the area added to the region's success with a solid performance.
