With the 71st overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Washington Commanders select wide receiver Antonio Williams out of Clemson.

It's no secret that the Commanders desperately need to add to their wide receivers' room, and when the Tennessee Titans selected Carnell Tate at No. 4 overall on Thursday, it derailed their plans a bit. However, instead, they landed a dynamic defensive piece that will make a huge difference this fall.

Today, Williams joins the ranks of the Commanders to vie for a spot to line up opposite Terry McLaurin. Williams played four seasons at Clemson, redshirting his sophomore season after five games due to injuries. He rebounded during his junior and senior seasons, though, leading the Tigers in receptions both seasons. Over those two seasons, Williams recorded 130 receptions for 1,508 yards and 15 touchdowns. He's also been known to rush the ball and throw a few passes, too.

He profiles as a slot receiver, but he has natural athleticism and talent and could find himself in a different role depending on how David Blough decides to use him. Regardless of how that ends up, Williams will provide a legitimate pass-catching target for Jayden Daniels this fall.
