The 2026 NFL Draft is finally here as Round 1 kicks off tonight at 8 p.m. ET in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The first round is just minutes away, but only 26 of the 32 NFL teams will be making a pick on Day 1 of the draft. The Atlanta Falcons are one of the six teams without a first-round selection.

The Falcons traded their Day 1 pick to the Los Angeles Rams during the 2025 NFL Draft to move up for James Pearce Jr., which means they won't be on the clock until pick No. 48 overall on Day 2. With just five total selections, Atlanta will have to make each pick count.

The 2026 NFL Draft is broken up into three days, starting with Round 1 on Thursday evening. Day 2 begins on Friday night at 7 p.m. ET and contains Rounds 2-3. The draft then concludes on Saturday with Rounds 4-7, starting at 12 p.m. ET.

The Falcons have just five total selections -- Nos. 48, 79, 122, 215, and 231 -- but we expect the team to trade down at some point to add more picks. Plus, don't be surprised if the team trades star tight end Kyle Pitts some point during the draft.
