Out went T’Vondre Sweat. In came John Franklin-Myers. That is how the Tennessee Titans addressed the defensive tackle position in the open market last winter.
Yet the Titans still have room to add another defensive tackle to their roster in the 2026 NFL draft to provide depth behind their first-team All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons and Franklin-Myers.
Tennessee also has needs at inside linebacker, as well as edge rusher. Jeremiyah Love is among the players expected to be under consideration when the Titans select with the No. 4 overall pick.
As for defensive tackle, Texas A&M interior defensive lineman Albert Regis is a Day 3 prospect who could warrant attention from Tennessee.
Regis recorded 2.0 sacks and three tackles for loss in 2025. The 22-year-old made a noticeable impact on Texas A&M’s defense last season and earned a run-defense grade of 82.6 from Pro Football Focus. He also recorded six pass breakups in 2024.
The defensive tackle position features several highly touted prospects at the top of the draft, particularly Kayden McDonald of Ohio State, Peter Woods of Clemson, and Lee Hunter of Texas Tech. Later in the draft, however, Regis has the potential to develop into a quality backup behind the Titans’ duo of Simmons and Franklin-Myers.
