In the 2026 NFL draft, the Arizona Cardinals did something they had not done under general manager Monti Ossenfort. They did not make a single trade.

This year, that was not the case. While there were rumors that they really wanted to trade back from the third overall pick, Ossenfort said that they had "very minimal conversations, some surface-level, but nothing that came anywhere close to getting us to move off the pick.”

They considered moving back into the first round but didn't. They took trade calls from other teams looking to move up to the No. 34 pick, but they stayed there.

In the end, they had seven selections, they stayed on them and they selected players. They didn't move up and give up picks. They didn't move back and acquire additional ones.
