The NCAA announced Wednesday afternoon the 81-team field for the 2026 NCAA Division I men’s golf regionals.

The NCAA has officially unveiled the 81-team field for the 2026 Division I men's golf regionals, setting the stage for a thrilling postseason run. Announced Wednesday afternoon, the lineup includes 28 conference champions and 53 at-large selections, spread across six regional sites. Each regional will host between 13 and 14 teams, along with five or 10 individual competitors not attached to advancing squads.

Regionals are scheduled for May 18-20, with the top five teams from each site punching their tickets to the national championship. Additionally, the highest-finishing individual not on an advancing team will also earn a spot. That means 30 teams and a handful of solo stars will compete for the ultimate prize.

The NCAA Championship gets underway Friday, May 29, and runs through Wednesday, June 3, at the prestigious Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California. Defending champion Oklahoma State will look to repeat, with the Cowboys now tied for third-most national titles in men's golf history—a legacy that adds extra weight to every swing this spring.

One of the highlighted regional venues is Ohio State University Golf Club (Scarlet Course) in Upper Arlington, Ohio, promising a challenging test for the contenders. For fans and players alike, this is where the road to glory truly heats up.
