The countdown to the 2026 NCAA Division I men's golf postseason has officially begun, with the regional fields and seeds announced this Wednesday. For college golf enthusiasts, this marks the start of an exciting journey toward crowning a national champion.
This year's regionals will be held from May 18-20 at six premier venues across the country. Each site will host either 13 or 14 teams, along with five to 10 individual competitors not affiliated with those teams. The stakes are high: only the top five teams and the top individual not on an advancing team from each regional will earn a ticket to the national championship.
The national championship will take place at the stunning Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, from May 29 to June 3. This marks the third year of a five-year run for both the men's and women's championships at this iconic venue.
Here's a closer look at the six regional sites:
Athens Regional: University of Georgia Golf Course, Athens, Georgia (Host: Georgia)
Bermuda Run Regional: Bermuda Run Country Club, Bermuda Run, North Carolina (Host: Wake Forest)
Bryan Regional: Traditions Club, Bryan, Texas (Host: Texas A&M)
Columbus Regional: OSU Golf Club, Columbus, Ohio (Host: Ohio State)
Corvallis Regional: Trysting Tree Golf Club, Corvallis, Oregon (Host: Oregon State)
Marana Regional: The Gallery Golf Club, Marana, Arizona (Host: Arizona)
Defending national champion Oklahoma State enters the postseason looking to repeat their 2025 title run. Meanwhile, former Ole Miss standout Michael La Sasso, who claimed medalist honors last year, will be one to watch as the individual competition heats up.
Whether you're rooting for a powerhouse program or an underdog, the road to Carlsbad promises plenty of drama and standout performances. Stay tuned as the full regional fields are revealed, starting at 2 p.m. ET on Golf Channel.
