Two Arsenal stars have earned spots in the Premier League Teams of the Week following their dominant 3-0 victory over Fulham on Saturday—a result that not only bagged three crucial points but also gave the Gunners a healthy goal difference boost over title rivals Manchester City.

Bukayo Saka and Viktor Gyokeres were the undisputed heroes of a first-half blitz that put Arsenal 3-0 up before the break. Both players were recognized by WhoScored in their weekly lineup, with Saka earning a stellar 8.64 rating after a goal and an assist in just 45 minutes. The winger created four chances—including two big ones—and scored from one of his two shots, proving a constant menace on his return to the starting XI.

Gyokeres, meanwhile, grabbed a 8.74 rating thanks to his two goals and an assist, capping off a performance that silenced critics calling for more from the striker. With 21 goals across all competitions this season, he’s certainly delivering when it matters most.

While both players made WhoScored’s Team of the Week, only Gyokeres earned a spot in Troy Deeney’s BBC selection. The former Watford striker praised the forward’s output: “Two goals and an assist against Fulham, in a season where people are asking him to do more, including myself. You have to give him credit—21 goals in all competitions, fair play to him.”

Deeney also hinted that Mikel Arteta was close to being named his manager of the week, but ultimately went with Nottingham Forest’s Vitor Pereira after his side’s impressive 3-1 win away at Chelsea.

For Arsenal fans, seeing two of their stars recognized across multiple platforms is a testament to the team’s growing depth and quality—and a reminder that this title race is far from over.
