NBA veteran Al Horford just completed his 19th NBA season and his first with the Golden State Warriors.
That said, there's no guarantee that he'll return to the Bay for a 20th season.
Soon to be 40 years old, Horford has a player option for the final year of his contract.
According to NBA insider Nick Friedell, Horford will take a "couple weeks" before making a decision. However, Horford and his family "really enjoyed their time" in Golden State.
Ultimately, Horford could opt-in to stay with the team, opt-out and retire or sign elsewhere.
Given Golden State's 37-45 record, there's a chance that the five-time All-Star and one-time NBA Champion elects to sign with a contender instead.
